O.U.R was set up in March 2008 to help raise awareness about the oceans eco-system spiralling out of control, from the deepest sea creature to the sea and shore birds, also to take necessary steps to do all we can in our power to help stop it.
Based in Whangarei, New Zealand we are hoping to expand world wide so we can have crew all over the world to deal with issues/research of all types. We are a non profit society, all donations help greatly in saving what is left of the ocean.

Up Coming Events- OUR Whangarei harbour clean up 26th of September
There will be and Ocean UpRise clean up of inner Whangarei harbour on the 26th of September. This will include picking up
rubbish from the mangroves along the edge of the harbour and recycling what we can. If you are interested to help email OUR
at info@oceanuprise.org or just show up on the day. A time is yet to be confirmed but volunteers
will be meeting at the start of the day in the car park of William Fraser Memorial Park off Riverside Drive.
